Kennedy

Aaron LOVES space and I love Aaron.  Soooooooo, we headed to Kennedy Space Center for the day, just the two of us.  We arrived in the morning and we stayed until they closed the doors!  We explored all things space, learned amazing new things, and really enjoyed our time together.  Here's a photo montage of our fabulous Mom and Aaron Day at Kennedy Space Center!

We're here!!!!

Mom and Aaron, age 13

We had to do the Cosmic Quest!

It was a great learning adventure that continued throughout the day!

Aaron convinced me to go down this slide...which was insane!

You FLY down this slide...it doesn't look that intense but BELIEVE me, you go ridiculously fast!!!

We loved the movie...and our feet thanked us after many hours of walking!

Sour Patch Kids is our favorite movie treat to share!

We took the bus tour...

My silly bear!

A very special day to remember....

Orlando (Florida in the Summertime) 2016

We headed back to Orlando after the Keys.  It was a good home base for the summer.  The campground was quiet and I was able to get ready for the upcoming school year.  We enjoyed the pool almost every day and we spent time with other full time families that were in Florida for the summer with us!  We volunteered at Second Harvest Food Bank during a special Pokemon Go Day and made new friends while doing our part to make a difference.  We discovered First Fridays in Downtown Clermont, which brings music and food trucks to a cute little historic district not far from our campground!  Bryan continued to work hard for our family while the kids got to be kids and explore their world...and I was fortunate to be able to spend time being a mom and wife!!  We are very thankful to be living this life!

Putting the kids on notice!  We learn year round, but during the summer months, our learning tends to be hands-on, real life experiences as opposed to more traditional "book work".

Ahhhhhh...a little room to breathe!  Love a quiet campground!

We've volunteered here a few times and we always leave wanting to help more!  Can;t wait to go back!

Our volunteer group!

Daily swim..Summer pool = peaceful!

Marathon, Florida - Part 2

Here are some more of our favorite memories from the Florida Keys trip (so many great memories it took two blog posts!!!!)

It's LOBSTER TIME!!!

We're hunting lobster...

The net doesn't always come up full...

Mini Season is a busy time in Marathon, Florida but well worth the extra hustle and bustle.

Our boat trip that day paid off!

Happy Guys!

Mom and Braden...

Getting doggie kisses!

Boat day with the Wheeler Family

Braden's favorite place to be...The Florida Keys

The Wheeler Kids loved our little home.  We had the Wheelers' over for a steak and seafood dinner after a day out on the water.

Just a little tired from all that fun in the sun!

Fishing some more back at the campground

Paddle boarding at Sombrero Beach

One of the many catches of the day!
I think something took his bait....and his hook!!!!
You can't go to the Keys without eating Key Lime Pie...a few times!!!

Brenden and his catch!

The view from our backyard

We tried to watch the sunset most nights we were there

Everything is better with friends

Our happy little Keys campsite

Oh, Sweet Savannah's Ice Cream Shop...You are so, so delicious!  We'll be back soon!!!
