More Orlando Florida Fun

We are starting this adventure off STRONG...Here's more of what we've been up to this rainy week!

Football in the rain
Go, Aaron, Go!!!
I'm the cheerleader, aka "the coat rack"... I have my winter coat on, a towel wrapped around my shoulders, Braden's hoodie on my head and I'm holding Aaron's hoodie.  Scary, I know!
The lifeguards were bundled up too!
We spied some long-legged wildlife in the Walmart parking lot.  Braden took this beautiful picture.
Met a very cute frog at our campsite (photo also by Braden)
Another wildlife picture taken by Braden on the way to the pool!
Bodie had a special day at Doggie Day Camp!
He played with lots of doggie and human friends and is now snoring so hard, it's comical!
He got a great report!
We had a soggy field trip to Legoland with the Fulltime Families group!
So many cool Lego creations throughout the park!
My handsome boys
Hahaha
He'll be driving for real way too soon!
Aaron being attacked the dreaded Lego Wolf!
Mini land was awesome!
Mini Statue of Liberty
Mini Times Square
Mini Pirate Battle
We rode the Coastersaurus...
All bundled up against the driving rain!
Fighting a "Lego" fire together

Car made entirely out of Legos

Goodbye Legoland!

Disney Days - Week of January 27th

We've had a very eventful week so far!  We've spent time at the pool, lounged in the hot tub, visited Downtown Disney, played at Disney Quest, explored WonderWorks Musuem in Orlando, walked ALOt, watched an outdoor movie under the stars (The Pacifier with Vin Diesel), fished in the ponds at Fort Wilderness and played with Bodie at the Dog Park.  We've also done some regular "stuff" like laundry and grocery shopping!  We are having an easy week of schooling (think field trips and real life experiences).  This first week back on the road is a sometimes tricky transition from the routine of life at home to life on the go...Here is our week in pictures!  Enjoy!

Five stories of unlimited video gaming wonderfulness (is that even a word?!?) Interactive rides, games, experiences...The best part was we paid one price and played all day- no quarters/tokens/cards... Everything was included!
Computer Animation Room

Virtual Reality Experience!

The boys create their own roller coaster!  This was so cool- they designed 10,000 feet of track and then it was loaded into the similator and they were able to ride their creation!
I watched from the safety of the platform outside, but I had a great view of their faces on this tv monitor!  Do you see the fear in their little faces?!?
They quickly found the FuN in the ride and even went back to create a second coaster and ride that one!
They used teamwork to design their roller coaster.
The Thrill-O-Meter was a 3 for their coaster: The Jolly Rocket (that's what they named their ride).

They are growing up so fast and don't really want to pose for pictures like this anymore!  This may be a rate collectors item one day :-)

Walking to dinner, we passed the Lego Store

A great night was had by all!

Fishing

WonderWorks Museum...hehehehehee

Creating with a ginormous Lite Brite

Very cool, interactive Space exhibits at WonderWorks

Braden has the need for speed!!!

Learning more about Space

Rope Climbing Course!  The boys also played Lazer Tag, but I didn't get any picks cause it was dark!

Where's Aaron's body?????

Aaron and I played this game- Mind Ball- we were hooked up to these high tech head bands and told to try to relax our thoughts- the person who had the most relaxed brain waves supposedly made the ball move away from them, toward their opponents "goal".  It was a tie!!!!  Aaron and I have always been on the same "wavelength". Hahahahaha
Amazingly cool artwork- this picture reminds me of the picture above our fireplace at home!!!!

On the way home we saw a bazillion oranges!  "Orange" you glad I snapped a picture :-)

I'm here all week :-)

Florida- Orlando/ Disney Experience

We left home on Friday afternoon- Easton was snowy, icy and downright bone chilling!  We made it to Smithfield, North Carolina the first night and boondocked at a friendly Walmart ( our first time ever doing this) The following morning we were in the road again at 7am!  On Saturday night we camped at a Cracker Barrel about an hour from Orlando.  It was so very nice to roll out of bed and walk to our "country kitchen" for a hearty breakfast.  They even had a fire in the fire place just for us :-)  On Sunday morning, we drove the last hour to Orlando and checked into Disney's Fort Wilderness.  This place is amazing!  Within an hour of checking in and setting up at our site, we were at the pool!  The boys love that there is a huge water slide and that the pool water is heated!  The staff here is wonderful- they engage the kids and there are events planned throughout the day to keep everyone active!  Today the boys played kickball for an hour with some new friends and went to a pool party - an hour of games, music, and fun with friends!  Bodie has made some new friends, too!  He is snoring as I write this!  Tomorrow we plan on going to Downtown Disney while Bryan works and we have reservations at Rainforest Cafe for dinner.  Here are some pictures from our adventure so far!  Love you all!
Friday, January 24th- Easton, Maryland

One of the best things EVeR!  We call him Tom.  He may have saved this marriage.  He even tells Bryan when he's speeding. Tom, you are my hero!

Tom didn't know about the accident on 95 though.

Stopped in Georgia for gas and bought some piping hot boiled peanuts for a treat.

We made it!
Doing the happy dance ❤️

YeeHaw!  We're really here!
