Stone Mountain, Georgia - Part 2

Still having a blast!  Here's more of what we've been up to in Georgia...
We met a family at the campground and they highly recommended this game ranch.  So glad we took their advice and visited :-)
We were able to buy food to feed the animals as we toured the park...saltine crackers, graham crackers, corn, peanuts, carrots...
Good to know!
Soooooo excited!!!!
Feeding the goats

Hey there!
This bear was awesome!  He loved our carrots!
Hand feeding deer
Strolling with the locals
Oink, oink

Even the squirrels got in on the action!
Can you see how happy that squirrel's face is?
So cute!
Hehehehehee
Elegant
Aaron loves animals
Aaron spotted a duck on the "outside" who wanted to come live at the game ranch...Aaron helped him sneak under the fence with some encouraging words and some corn!
Mission accomplished!!!!  This duck's identity has been hidden for his safety, in case the authorities are looking for him!
My hero!
Braden looking longingly at the Yellow River through the fence... He spotted fish down there!
Our next stop was the Skyride at the Park.  We rode to the top of the mountain this time!
Here we come up the mountain!
Woohoo!  Less strenuous this time
around!
Less sweaty this time, but check out that view!
Breathtaking
Wow

Amazing carving on the side of the mountain!
Memorial Hall - The Museum
Replica of the stars on General Lee's lapel
Replica of Black Jack
See!?!
Artifacts

We learned so much!
Impressive

Good day had by all :-)

Stone Mountain, Georgia- Part 1

Our last stop on this leg of our trip is Georgia.  We're staying at Stone Mountain Campground and it's beautiful. The weather has been in the low 80's and we've been getting outside as much as possible...climbing mountains, pedal boating, bike riding, playing at the playground, widdling, feeding Georgia's wildlife (see tomorrow's post) & fishing!
View from Stone Mountain Lake
View from our campground
Campfires and s'mores!
Stone Mountain
Time for some fun in the sun!!!!!
There we are!

Pedal boating- not as effortless as it looks!  I made the whole family take turns  riding with me :-)
Me & the Bear
Me & my fisherman
No dogs allowed :-(  Don't worry, we have him extra snuggles...
A totally tubular tribe of turtles!
So peaceful...
Back on land...See those two dark spots in the tree?  Chipmunks...that like to drop things on your head when you're resting your weary bones!
This is what knocked me on my noggin!!!
Remember that mountain?  We decided to climb that monster!!!
Up, up, and away!
Kept going up...
Still going...
Really up there...
Just when we thought we were at the top... just a bit further!
We made it!!!!!!
Recharging on a rock!
Meditating
Pondering

The real deal
So proud of himself!
So sleepy!  More adventures tomorrow!
