Solar Eclipse 2017

It was a chance of a lifetime and we didn't want to miss it...so we headed to Hiawassee, Georgia to be in the direct path of the 2017 Solar Eclipse.  Our friends, The Devoes, found us all a great campground in Hiawassee at the top of a mountain!  This area was amazing and had so many opportunities to get outside and enjoy nature!  We did tons of hiking and exploring while we waited for the big day (and after the solar eclipse!)   Tom took all the kids tubing on the Chattahoochee River in Helen River (I wish that we had pictures, but it was an amazing experience just the same!!!), we watched the sunset after a great hike up  Brasstown Bald, and we hiked a small piece of the Appalachian Trail!  Ohm and the Solar Eclipse itself...BEYOND WORDS EXTRAORDINARY!!!!  It was a great week that we'll never forget!!!

Our Family!

Haha, Braden wasn't feeling the glasses at all!
