White House Holiday Tour 2015

Bob and Karen were kind enough to get us tickets for the 2015 Holidays at the White House Tour!  It was a once in a lifetime experience and we had a wonderful time!  We are learning about government, civics, and democracy, so it was beyond awesome to visit the White House!  Here is a photo montage of our time at the house of the POTUS!

It was a brisk, invigorating day in DC

The boys and Cate!

This tree is decorated in honor of the courageous men and women of the Armed Forces

We were encouraged to write a message of encouragement to our troops

I pads were available to send electronic messages of thanks!

These paper snowflakes each have a hope/dream from a student in DC.

All the snowflakes are unique and hand-crafted

Each snow person represents a state or territory in the United States of America

The trees were exquisite...a true labor of love!

Yarn dogs to represent Sunny and Bo - the president's Portuguese Water Dogs...The tennis ball trees were a nice touch :-)
