Yellowstone Adventures

Our next stop was Yellowstone National Park.  We stayed in West Yellowstone just a few miles from the entrance.  We had a wonderful time exploring as a family, seeing so many amazing sights!  Here is our photo montage of the Thomas Family Yellowstone Adventures 2018!
Hello Montana!

Truly Wide Open Spaces

Our kayak hadn't been in the water since Alabama, but we had to stop for all the Watercraft Inspection Stations.

We passed inspection!

Old Bess...

We stopped on the way into Yellowstone to check the fishing situation :-)

Ready for Adventure!

The Paint Pots were on my "Absolutely Need to Visit" List!

Remarkable!!!

The boys loved seeing this!

Aaron loved documenting our trip!

We din't see them in the wild, but this Bear Sanctuary in West Yellowstone was informative and educational.  I could've stayed and watched the bears all day!

Spotted on the way into the park one morning!

These guys ruled the road

By the afternoon, the parking lots were crazy busy...but I'm so thankful that Bryan found us a parking spot and we were able to hike this!

It was INTENSE!!!

We made it!!!!

Just unbelievable!

My guys!

So glad we splurged for the Gaperguide!  As we drove through the Yellowstone, it told us interesting facts about the specific area we were driving through and let us know what park attraction was up ahead!

Our road trip snack :-)

One of my favorite parts of this leg of the trip...of the beaten path and away from the gaggles of tourists!

This was a great hike up the mountain to fish!

Great catch!

Happy Guy!

One of my favorite pictures!

Happy Campers!  We saw Old Faithful erupt!!!
