CHARLESTON SOUTH CAROLINA!
We arrived in Charleston Saturday afternoon after a pretty smooth trip South. We are looking forward to 10 days on the coast after spending so many days in the mountains. Amy drove the big rig for the first time on the way here!
Breaker 1-9 Good Buddy!
We woke up Sunday morning and headed to old Charleston to take the Tommy Dew walking tour. Tommy walked us through the city and taught us a lot about history, culture, immigration, economics, slavery, piracy, architecture, religion, you name it... It was well worth the money and we recommend it to anyone visiting the area. It was awesome.
After the walking tour we hit Hyman's Seafood for lunch. It was no surprise when Braden ordered King Crab legs. From Alaska. In Charleston. Most of our pictures taken today were on the Canon and have not been processed yet.
Our campground is full of beautiful mossy oaks
This was Bryan's office on Monday. Braden and Bryan went to the Mt. Pleasant fishing pier. Bryan worked and Braden caught several species of fish.
They went back with uncle Kevin last night and caught a lot more fish including a shark! Bryan didn't have his camera....
Today we had a gun safety lesson from Uncle Kevin. Then we blew the living crap out of stuff. Uncle Kevin did a great job educating the boys on guns and how to use them safely. He then set up a bunch of water bottles and clay pigeons and let the boys blast them to pieces. They got to shoot a .22 Rifle, a 1911 pistol and an AR15 (assault weapon).
Aaron loved the pistol
Dreams do come true! BOOMCHAKALAKA!

Bear with his first AR15 shot ON TARGET
Bryan had a blast too (get it?!?!) :)
I'm not sure which is more disturbing, this picture.. or the fact that uncle Kevin owns a grenade.
Last night we visited our first Camping World! We only spent $100.00 if you can believe it. We did find a 2012 THOR Bunkhouse Motorcoach that we fell in love with. Only 150K.
Today (Thursday 6/27) we visited the oldest living tree in North America. The Angel Oak tree is estimated to be 400-500 years old and shades over 17,000sf of ground. Imagine what this tree has lived through! The best part was getting some mud on the Jeep on Angel Oak Road.
We had a lot of space to ourselves at Oak Plantation
A friendly game of Shoes
