After a month in the Florida Keys, we traveled back to Maryland to celebrate the Christmas holiday. We were very fortunate to have such mild weather while we were up north (although we did have heavy snow flurrys one day!).
While we were in Maryland, we took care of the necessary dentist and doctors appointments - it's nice to start the new year with sparkling clean teeth and up to date on shots ;-) We even had new tires put on the RV, so we are ready to roll!!!!
It was a busy, fun-filled month -birthday celebrations, Christmas shopping, baking Christmas cookies, laughing and spending quality time with some of our favorite people, catching up with friends, playing cards, helping with projects, and lots and lots of eating!!!!! It was a month of making precious memories...our hearts are full of joy...and our bellies are full of cookies :-) Here are just a few of the highlights of our month.
Our favorite "campground"!!!
Baking Christmas cookies with Grammy
Making cinnamon sugar "snowflakes" with flour tortillas...delicious!
Gingerbread cutout cookies...these were a hit!!!
Getting artistic with the decorating!
Helping Grandaddy with some projects around the yard!
Many hands make light work!
Tractor rides were a bonus!
Learning so much from Grandaddy! Project planning, math, science, work ethic...
Digging a path for the water to flow out of the center of the yard...
It was a muddy mess, but the end result will be well worth the effort!
Aaron and I snuck away to the
movies twice while we were in Easton. We saw Penguins of Madagascar and Nights of the Museum 3! We love the whole movie theater experience!
In between it all, we baked some more goodies!
Bodie was spoiled...very spoiled!!! He loved going into the main house to play with the cats and his grandparents!
We loved having our cozy home right there in the driveway!
We visited with Nonna and PopPop in St. Michaels! They even surprised us with homemade gnocchi for dinner one night!! Yummmmm!
We spent a day visiting with our good friends the Marinces in Annapolis!
We met at an awesome place called Miss Shirley's in Annapolis and had a delicious brunch and them walked around downtown for a bit.
We took Bodie to PetSmart a few times to shop!
It wasn't all fun and games...we had to do laundry once a week!
All the boys on Christmas!!!
