Barton, Maryland - Part 1

Our next stop after Pennsylvania was Western Maryland - a little coal mining town where Amy's grandparents grew up.  We parked the RV at our friends' home and we stayed at the family "mountain house" in Barton, Maryland.  Amy's mom and grandma met us there and we had a fabulous two weeks!  I wish I had taken a picture of the house, but I was too busy enjoying my time there :-).  Here is a picture of Bodie on the front porch of the house instead!
We did something fun everyday and we ate like royalty every meal!  We loved our time in Barton!  Here are some of the highlights!
The boys were introduced to the typewriter while we were in Barton.  Here they are practicing with Mom-Mom.
We went bowling at the Bowler in LaVale.    We had a "ball"!

We had Art class with Mom-Mom.  We used Acrylics and we each painted a masterpiece!
Braden and Mom-Mom finished 2 puzzles and started a third.

We visited Dan's Rock!
Breathtaking views as far as the eye can see!
My mountain climbers
We exercised and enjoyed time together at the park.

Weeeeeeee
Zip line mountain style!

We went fishing...most days!
Grammy was a great sport and went out into the wilderness with us!
Even after we found bear prints by the pond!
