Shelby, Iowa

We made it to Iowa!  We found a great "just off the exit" campground to stop at for the night.  We needed to shower, wash dishes, and just regroup.  Traveling is awesome, amazing and full of adventure, but it takes a lot out of you!  Sometimes you just need to rest :-)  It was a cozy inn, with a field of RV sites, with FULL HOOK-UPS!  You can't ask for anything more (except maybe room service, but we haven't found a campground that offers that yet!)  A cute kitty was waiting to welcome us when we checked in for the night!

The "STAR" is where we slept for the night!

I didn't even notice the Dairy Queen sign until right now...Darn, we could have made a late night ice cream run!

The Inn...The field we stayed in was to the right!
We may have been there for less than 24 hours, but we saw something FANTASTIC!  See that tall structure?  It's a 76 foot tall metal cornstalk symbolizing the importance of agriculture!  Only in Shelby, Iowa...
