A Little More...in Moab, Utah

Our next stop was Moab...it was seriously HOT, like parched in the desert hot. It definitely limited our hiking and exploring, as we needed to avoid the hot afternoon sun. We were honestly a little travel weary by this point in our travels, so we enjoyed the air conditioning of our home on wheels more than usual and caught up on school.  We were able to check out Arches National Park and Canyonlands National Park and see the breathtaking, massive red rock formations and we did a few small hikes in the evenings after the weather cooled off.  We went to The Hole In The Wall, a tourist attraction not far from where we were staying.  It's a unique home carved out of a huge rock and it's over 5,000 square feet.  It was interesting.  There was also a little petting zoo (I'm a sucker for a good petting zoo!)  We ended up taking a tour and getting some ice cream to cool after our little adventure.  While we were in Moab, we were able to get the oil changed on the rig before we started our trek back East.
