Utah September 2018

In September, we headed to Utah.  The landscape was amazing and the sky went on forever.  We were headed to a campground right outside of Capital Reef National Park, but stopped overnight in Salt Lake City on our way.  That meant we had to go to our favorite restaurant for dinner!  The Red Iguana always has a line out the door, but it's always worth the wait!
We met up with friends who are originally from Utah and stayed at the same campground.  They greeted us with a traditional spaghetti dinner.  Delicious! Bianca, Guy and their amazing kids knew all the best spots to hike and we hiked a new trail everyday.  They took us to all the "locals favorite spots".  There were waterfalls, nights hikes under the stars, and Saturday off roads that took us to elevations where our popcorn bags almost exploded. Guy taught us about edible plants and made coffee in the middle of nowhere!  Braden, Gordon and Bryan went to some hot springs one day and that was quite the adventure!  Bianca and I went on some amazing hikes and went and picked apples at the historic Johnson Orchard.  We made so many wonderful memories in Utah and it is most definitely on our "Must Go Back!" list!
