Colorado Up Next

Colorado was our next stop on the adventure.  Some highlights of this leg of the trip were the donuts, the Iron Mountain Hot Springs, the trip to Aspen and seeing the fall foliage in all its glory!  We visited a wonderful farmers market and had a picnic of homemade, crusty bread and cheese.  We visited a ghost town in Independence, Colorado and stood at the Continental Divide!  We did some hiking and we were able to see some of Bryan's co-workers when he hosted them at an event at TopGolf in Denver!
*Not Pictured* We stayed in Central City, Colorado for a few nights where the elevation is 8, 510 feet above sea level.  There were cans of oxygen for sale in the campground store, so that should have been a clue that the air was thin. It was all we could do to survive these days, as we literally were walking in circles and bumping into each other...so no pictures.  We then moved to a KOA that had more air and things improved :-)
