Christmas Eve 2015

'Tis the season to be jolly.  We celebrated a quiet Christmas Eve with family & close friends.  We ate lots of holiday treats and spent quality time with those we love!!!!  Here are some of our favorite memories!!!

Our little Wegman's Christmas Tree...

Our Stockings!

The stockings were hung by the whiteboard with care....

Some of the presents waiting for us under the tree...

Stormy was settled down for a long winter's nap...

Looks like Santa already left gifts for the cats...

Christmas Eve is for family!

We love it when we all can get together!!!

Delicious food is always on the menu at the Burl/Mowbray home!

And for dessert...

We love these two soooooooooo much!!!!!  I think they were discussing how much they love us :-)

Mr. Joe & Miss Nancy...Love them like family!

Mom-Mom and I had been saving this bottle of champagne for a special occasion!!!

I think we were all captivated by Mr. Joe's storytelling!  He was on a roll!!!

Bodie was sitting on his daddy's lap...I think he wants some new toys for Christmas!

White House Holiday Tour 2015

Bob and Karen were kind enough to get us tickets for the 2015 Holidays at the White House Tour!  It was a once in a lifetime experience and we had a wonderful time!  We are learning about government, civics, and democracy, so it was beyond awesome to visit the White House!  Here is a photo montage of our time at the house of the POTUS!

2015

It's a picture of a picture :-)

Karen and Bob

We look like we belong in DC

Me and my boys

The Thomas Team 2015

It was a brisk, invigorating day in DC

The boys and Cate!

This tree is decorated in honor of the courageous men and women of the Armed Forces

We were encouraged to write a message of encouragement to our troops

I pads were available to send electronic messages of thanks!

These paper snowflakes each have a hope/dream from a student in DC.

All the snowflakes are unique and hand-crafted

Each snow person represents a state or territory in the United States of America

The trees were exquisite...a true labor of love!

Yarn dogs to represent Sunny and Bo - the president's Portuguese Water Dogs...The tennis ball trees were a nice touch :-)

Cate and Aaron

It was breathtaking!

Look closely at these pups in the holiday display....

Look familiar?  Here is the REAL LIFE PRESIDENTIAL PUP!!!  It was a definite highlight of the day!!!!!

Braden catching a glimpse!!!

The whole family saw Bo...or was it Sunny???

Bryan and his parents!

The decorations were top notch!

The Library

Enjoy the pictures of the various rooms and decorations...I wish there was music to accompany...
