We made it to Maine aka Vacation-land. We had a Maine Meetup with some of our Traveling Tribe. We stayed in Wells, Maine which is a beautiful little coastal town. We walked to the beach almost every day (sometimes twice a day!). We picked strawberries and had a party where everyone brought a dessert made with the strawberries they picked. We had a lobster feast, we visited the Rachel Carson National Wildlife Refuge, and the Wells Reserve Research Facility. We hiked, fished, and enjoyed campfires and potlucks. We enjoyed beach days where we swam and sunned ourselves. The boys practiced their surfing and skim boarding skills and spent lots of time hanging out with friends. They really enjoyed playing Uno, Having scones and painting with the Perry kids. We all ate the best Maine ice cream and doughnuts. We celebrated Quentin's 16th birthday and we walked Marginal Way and climbed on the rocks with our friends. We also ate quite a few lobster rolls while in Maine :-) It was an extremely relaxing and enjoyable time. We can't wait to go back!
