Winsted, Connecticut & then on to Cape Cod!

Our next stop was to see our relatives in Connecticut!  It was like no time had passed at all.  The kids and adults all picked up right where we had left off.  The kids played video games, we hiked in the woods, the kids rode go-carts and we enjoyed some delicious meals together while catching up.  We visited Aunt Linda and Uncle Jerry, too!  We really enjoyed our time in Connecticut with family!
After we visited the Ellis Family, we headed on to Cape Cod.  We celebrated our 20th Wedding Anniversary at the Black Cat Tavern in Hyannis. We also explored the Hyannis Kennedy Legacy Trail and drove by the Kennedy compound.  Braden did some fishing on the canal and Bryan and I enjoyed walking the paved walking trail next to the canal.  As usual, we enjoyed some fine meals in the Cape Cod area, including some delectable lobster rolls.  One Saturday morning, we got up early, let the boys sleep in, and we took the dog to the beach and to a doggie bakery.  We might have stopped for some donuts for the people too!  Cape Cod is beautiful and there is lots to see and do!  We will definitely be back!
