Accord, New York
The last stop on our New England trip was New York. We stayed at Rondout Valley Resort in Accord, NY - It was a quick stop, but still very full of adventure!
Nice location next to a fun group of people. Met a friendly firefighter named Joe who also has an English Bulldog!
Putting on the New York sticker! The NY countryside is very different from New York City! Lots of farms and open space! Not a McDonalds in sight :-) We ate at a great diner while in Accord- the boys had pancakes and Bryan and I had the special... It was a Chinese dish!!!! Hahahahaha
Can you see this picture? It's a bridge- a very short bridge! You can't drive under it if you are driving in a tall RV! We climbed a mountain on our way out of town ( heading towards home sweet home) and I told Bryan that we only had 5 more minutes of this crazy terrain and we would be fine- headed to a nice, roomy interstate! The next thing we see is this bridge... We panicked for half a second! There is no backing up in a rig pulling a Jeep! We sprung into action ( we were a very good team I must say!) and unhooked the Jeep, I stopped traffic and Bryan was able to get out of that precarious position and head back down the mountain. I found us a route that didn't include any low clearance bridges at the next gas station! As a bonus, we discovered these yummy drinks at that station :-)
We arrived in Easton at 7ish that same evening! So thankful to be home! Can't wait to get back on the road after the holidays!

Vermont
We are loving our time here in Vermont! It's gorgeous and the weather has been very cooperative :-) We've been exploring all the farms and factories that Vermont has to offer. Just call us Vermont Foodies! Here's a picture montage if what we've been up to here in the great state of VT...
We usually eat out on travel days so the first night in Vermont we went to Black Rock Steak House. They bring the steaks RAW and you cook your own steak on a 750 degree black rock! Braden loved it!!!! Bryan wasn't so sure. Aaron and I both had chicken- which came fully cooked :-)
We saw how the ice cream was made, sampled some of Ben & Jerry's finest, and then visited their Flavor Graveyard!
While in Waterbury, we also sampled Cheese at the Cabot Cheese Store and chocolate from Champlain Chocolate! We were too busy stuffing our faces to document that :-)
We stopped by the Green Mountain Visitor Center and learned a little about how they make coffee...look at that giant coffee bean:-)
After all the samples and touring, we spent a little time in a quaint little park getting some of our energy out!
Billie's parents were very cool too! We've really enjoyed meeting new people along our trip! We also met a great couple at the Cabot Cheese Store this same day. We love meeting new people :-)
Sugarbush Farm in Woodstock, VT was a wonderful farm tour! We learned about how a maple syrup is made, toured the Sugar House, saw some cool animals, and sampled maple syrup and cheese from the farm!
Aaron & I loved feeding the animals! We want to buy a farm now❤

New Hampshire
We still haven't seen any bears or moose :-( I was hopeful because when we first arrived, we heard there was a 500 pound Brown bear who visited regularly (and they even put the backhoe on the dumpster nightly so the bear can't get into the trash) but we must have scared her away. Moose also mosey through the campsite but they must be relaxing this week- oh well, guess we'll have to come back :-)
During our stay in New Hampshire, we have visited many gorgeous locations! The leaves are perfect fall colors! Here are some of our favorite pictures! Enjoy!
Braden stopped to fish for a bit
One day we drove the Kancamungus Highway - the locals call it the Kanc- it had many pull offs where you could hike/climb/scale down to the river...so we did just that
Today we went up the Mt. Washington Auto Road- the highest point in the Northeast! Just 6,288 ft up in the sky!
Enjoying the view
