Easton, Maryland

We're backkkkkkkk...Went back to Easton to regroup and prepare for our upcoming trip to New York. The weather was getting a bit more Fall-like and we were able to help GranDaddy with some outdoor projects.  Bryan helped his parents with some computer issues and Braden enjoyed watching football in St. Michaels!  Mom, Mom-Mom and I did lots of shopping in preparation for our trip to NY to see the Rockettes at Radio City Music Hall (the boys needed long pants and dress shoes for a night out of the town!)  Here's a peek into the fun!
A beautiful Burl rose

On one of our shopping trips to Kent Island, Mom and I drove through the old neighborhood!  This is where I grew up!

I spent many hours playing in this backyard...

Meanwhile, back in Easton, Aaron was helping in the yard.

Learning all about leaf remediation :-)

Using the heavy machinery

GranDaddy taught Aaron how to strip the bark off of logs - He was enlarging his garden and needed these as barriers.

Aaron was getting the hang of it!

Finishing up a study about Sugar Skulls and we decided to decorate a sugar cookie :-)

We found this cool kit in Williamsburg and we make the skulls last time we were in Easton.  Now it was time to decorate!

Ahhhhh, technology!

Making dough maps of Australia

We love hands-on activities!

Working hard!

I love this kid!

I love this one, too!

Finished products!  This project was in addition to learning all about Australia - the history, the government & economy, the animals and attractions.

Grocery shopping is a necessary evil, no matter where you are!

We shopped for shoes for the boys!

We found things we really didn't need, but really wanted :-)

Mom-Mom hemmed the boys dress pants and also taught me how to hem, for future reference!

We started Bryan's birthday celebration a bit early!

Bodie is making a wish...A wish that he could reach that CAKE!!!

Nonna and Pop-Pop with a yummy cookie cake for Bry-Guys birthday!!!!

Happy Birthday, Bryan!!!!  Let's go celebrate in New York!!!!
