New York, New York

We drove our home on wheels to Jersey City, New Jersey and camped at the Liberty Harbor RV Park (this is the closest RV park to New York City).  It was an awesome adventure!  We loved being able to see the Statue of Liberty from our RV windows and enjoyed living "in the city" for a spell!  It was Bryan's birthday weekend and we went to Radio City Music Hall, Ellis Island, the Statue of Liberty, Carlos's Bakery and Central Park!  It was a fantastic experience and we made memories to last a lifetime!!!!  Here are some of our favorite pictures!

Our Big Apple Adventure

We walked the dog here every day

Ok, so it wasn't much more than a parking lot, but it was our parking lot and the views were spectacular! :-)

Look at the view we had from our RV window!!!

Our daily dog walking route lead us here!

Check out that view

Braden was drawn to the water's edge, where he found some sea glass and a melted, twisted piece of glass that looked like it could have come from an office building?

Here is his treasure...

Our handsome boys all dressed up for a night on the town!

We ate at 5 Napkin in the city before the show

Look who showed up after dinner!  Keri-Ann was dropping Chelsea off in the city for the weekend with a friend, who happened to live around the corner from our restaurant.   What a nice surprise!

Soooooooo excited to see the Rockettes...

Santa!

Santa times 100

All decorated for the holidays!

The next day, we were up bright and early to catch the ferry for our tour of Ellis Island and the Statue of Liberty!

:-)

Getting there (on the ferry) was part of the adventure!

First stop, Ellis Island

There was so much to see and experience!  It was a bit overwhelming.  To think that it all started right here...

We started with the audio tour to get an overview

Next, we signed up for a turn at the Record Search
